How the Prezio electricity price API works

Each user is set up once with the Onboard API. From then on, the Live and Calculate APIs return their prices and costs, with grid fees, taxes and levies included.

1

Once per user · Onboard API

Set up each user's electricity tariff

Your user enters their address and confirms their tariff in a short guided flow you embed. No login to their energy account. Or you send what you already know in one API call.

Prezio matches it to the right retailer, grid operator and taxes from a library of providers and tariffs that is updated every day, and saves the setup for that home. You never model a tariff or maintain a rate sheet yourself.

2

Every day · Live API and Calculate API

Get their prices, and what anything costs

From then on, get each user's electricity prices for today and tomorrow, in 15-minute intervals, with energy, grid fees and taxes included.

Your app uses them to schedule devices into cheaper hours, show live costs, or price any session or day to the cent it lands on the bill.
